Idili brings the art of perfumery in his veins since his early childhood. Aged 10, after leaving school he used to walk in Paris downtown perfumeries to smell perfume on strips of paper in front of astonished clerks.
He always thought "as an adult, I will do it better." Idili is an expert in the history of perfumes and cosmetics. A deep follower of the arts of alchemy and its roots, its relations with the world of cosmetics and aromatherapy. Their magic formulas combine olfactory beauty and therapeutic power. His perfumes can cure and restore harmony between soul, body and skin.
Idili Lizcano is an alchemist in modern times; his fragrances have the power to transform and transmute. As Coco Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Thierry Hermes and Salvatore Ferragamo, Idili Lizcano is a master craftsman. He says that his formulas are created during dreams, that "create perfume is like making poetry, music."
Idili Lizcano studied Philosophy at the University of Valencia, Spain. "Alchemy is reached through chemistry or philosophy. The ancient alchemists used to call themselves philosophers, those who search for wisdom" he says. In 1984 he created ALQVIMIA, a company dedicated to the manufacturing of natural cosmetics since its origin. ALQVIMIA is the first aromatherapy company all over Spain. Idili is an expert aromatherapist who created a unique method of using essential oils based on the wisdom of Asian and occidental alchemy.
In the 90 he investigates eco-chemistry, gives lectures at universities spreading a new chemical based on the respect for nature and not on the abuse. In 1993 he receives the prize “Eco-product” by the Environment Bureau of the Catalonian Local Government.
In 1998 he creates the ALQVIMIA INTERNATIONAL SPA SCHOOL, a professional school where he spreads his view of the world of spas. Through this school he gives lesson in Japan, HK, Malaysia, Chile, England, Holland, China, Korea and more. He assert hi spa concept based on the Mediterranean traditions of ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome and medieval Spain. Idili then make the diffusion worldwide of ALQVIMIA a reality. His products are used by some of the most prestigious spas in Europe, Asia and America. It creates its own shops first in Spain and then abroad, in cities like HK and Macao.
